Pete Dallas Obituary
He is a native of Greece and had been a peninsula resident since 1976. Pete was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dimitra Dallas; two sons, Basilios Dallas and Bobby Dallas, both of Newport News; his parents, Vassilios and Sotiria Dalageorgos of Greece; a sister; his mother-in-law, Maria Nikolakopoulou; and many other family and friends.
A Trisagion Service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 60 Traverse Road, Newport News. The family will receive friends after the service.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. George Chioros officiating. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.

We are so sorry we will miss Pete at the restaurant as he usually came out to greet us on Old Timers Night. We are praying for you and the children at this trying time and will continue to do so. I only heard it about his passing at the Barber shop yesterday or I would have been there to show support.

Dimitra and family, It was of great pleasure to have met and worked with Pete at Sammy and Nicks and to have worked with you both at the Steak Den. Pete was truly a wonderful person I'll never forget all the times I'd just pop in to say hi or when I saw yall waiting to get the Harry Potter book at midnight at Walmart or even trading a JC Penny gift certificate for your old wooden living room set and all the Greek sayings you taught me and the Greek alphabet. You and your family will be in my prayers and always in my heart. If you ever need anything just let me know(283-5033).May God bless you and you keep you safe.

My thoughts and prayers are with Pete's family. I remember when he would play volleyball with Nick and Lee in my backyard. He was nice to me and my mom and dad, Anne and Fred Ellis.
