Henry Dietrich Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Henry Karl Joseph Dietrich, 80, a 13 year resident of Williamsburg, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.
He was born in Frankfurt, Germany and moved to the United States in 1952, lived in North Bellmore, on Long Island, NY, being employed by Governale Brothers and the Javin Corporation. Mr. Dietrich was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brigitte K. Dietrich; four children, Patricia S. Watts and husband, David, James Henry Dietrich, Joan E. Mills and husband, Timothy, Christine E. Dietrich, all of Williamsburg; nine grandchildren, Brian, Karen, Susan, and Steven Watts, Carolyn, Andrew, Gregory, Abigail, and Matthew Mills.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Williamsburg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Stephen Building Fund, 612 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185 or to the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd, Suite A-102, Newport News, VA 23606.
