Mildred Bransford Obituary

DANDY, VA. - Mildred Bransford, 94, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008.
She was a lifelong resident of York County and was a member of Seaford Baptist Church.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Bransford.
She is survived by a brother, James G. Riggins and his wife, Edith of Dandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. today, Oct. 3, in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Aunt Mildred, What wonderful and loving memories you have given me. I am blessed to of had such a wonderful aunt and now an angel to watch over us left behind. All my love.

I will miss Aunt Mildred very much. I didn't get to visit her as much as I wanted but I know she is looking down and understands why. I have so many memories of her and they are happy memories. She was an inspiration. She is loved very much. Rest in peace, Aunt Mildred, I know you are with Travis, Patsy, Uncle Ed, Uncle Lang, Uncle Fuzzy, Anut Annabelle, Grandma and Grandpa Riggins, and of course, Uncle Otis.

I will truely miss Aunt Mildred, I have fond memories as a child growing up in Dandy. Also visiting with her at Grandma house, listing to thier stories. Just sitting and talking about the garden.
So many sweet memories.
