Dear Trish's Family and Friends,
Having just returned from a trip to England we were shocked with the news of Trish's passing. Since she left the Best of British and we moved an hour away, We heard no more from her although continued to send email funnies.
We arrived, very green, in Virginia 11 years ago and to go and chat with her in the shop was very comforting and to have that 'British' laugh so very important then. We will always remember her with such fondness, such a smart, witty, humourous (English spelling, she'd like that) and lovely person. We know you will all miss her, she is surely resting comfortably now.
God Bless you all, our thoughts are with you.

Dear Jeff and family:

Trish was a true beauty, broadly intelligent, and a very sweet woman. Her even temperament paired with her business acumen made her quite successful with The Best of British. I enjoyed many hours sitting in her shop (and in The Admiral Lord Nelson) in engaging conversation with Trish. Since she sold her shop in 2006, Downtown Hampton has sorely missed her charming presence.

I deeply regret the physical trials she had to endure of late, but trust that she is now free of all pain, and in eternal bliss.

I offer my most sincere condolences and prayers for you and all her beautiful family.

I was so shocked to hear about Trish. I've known her for many years since she opened The Best of British. She was a wonderful person always with a smile. I had not seen her since she sold the business, but when she was downtown it was always good to visit with her. She will be missed. Regina Mays (Shabby Chic-Hampton)

Trish, We will miss you. Our laughs at the shop before you retired, and our British sense of humour that only we could understand as crazy as it was. Next time I make a good old "cuppa" with the kettle we bought from you, plus the PG tips, we will have a toast to you my dear.

Jeff, we send you and your family our deepest sympathy at this very sad time.

Trisha was very special to so many of us who came to know her as we shopped, chatted and most of all had a good laugh while in the Best of British. And, how could we forget the great Christmas Parties at the 19th hole.

We have many fond memories and we hope that your memories will help you through this difficult time.

Samantha, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I only met her a couple of times when we were shopping. I know for me, my mom is the best to go shopping with and my daughter always wants me to go with her - they are special times to remember. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

God's peace, healing, and comfort for family, friends and acquaintances who shared time with Patrica. I'll fondly remember the fun times shopping at the "Brit" store and chatting with a fellow Scot.

Rest in peace in the presence of the Lord.

Dear Family of Trish, I was shocked and saddened at news of Trish's death; she was a gracious lady. I still miss seeing her everytime I walk into Best of British; I loved chit-chatting with her about family and trips to the U.K. Please know that you are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers, Dear Ones. From the depths of my heart, Linda Pape
