Talmadge Watkins Obituary
A native of Castalia, N.C., she was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was a loving, devoted, strong, and phenomenal woman and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include, one granddaughter, Ledra Boone of Newport News; two great-granddaughters, Erika Taylor and Semone Boone, both of Newport News; two sisters, Bertie McNeill of Hampton and Ruth Duggins (Melvin) of Newport News; one brother-in-law, Thomas F. Watkins Sr. of Newport News; a special niece, Carmen Chambers (Melvin) of Hampton; and three special nephews, Henry McNeill of Richmond, Karl McNeill (Janice) of Georgia and Winston Duggins of Newport News; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral will be conducted Friday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church by the Rev. Corey Brown. Burial will be in Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Talmage, you will be missed dearly, especially sitting on the porch together remembering the good ole days, sharing moments of conversation that you and I would only discuss amongst ourselves and your favorite phrase "okey dokey"
