She is survived by one sister, Nadine Woods; one brother, Joe Minnitt Jr.; four kids, Sylvester Cox Jr., Cynthia D. Cox, K. Renee Cox and Karen E. Cox; 13 grandkids, Darius and Danielle Cox, Sterling and Chetara Cox, Thomas and Brandon Gorham, Diamond Watson, Tiffany L. Cox, Michelle J. Cox, Anita R. Cox, Casey Cox, Sylvia Cox and Donita White; four great-grandkids, Promyce and Thurston Cox, Khaneal Samuels and Casiana Gorham; and former spouse Sylvester Cox.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 4, at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 3509 Chestnut Ave, Newport News VA 23607. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
