Shirley, It has been a long time since we have shared a visit but I just wanted you to know how sorry I am to hear of your husband's passing. I know you will miss him so much as I have missed Johnny. But the Lord has been so good to both of us to bless us with such good families. We have such wonderful children to fall back on and that care about us so much. I just found out, Doug called and told me that Randy called him. If we had known we would have been there for you. I hope all of you will cherish good memories. Take care and call me anytime if you feel like it.

Raymond Pach was a kind-hearted, caring, and generous soul and a true gentleman. He was open and gracious in sharing stories of his father's life with me and other scholars who have researched Walter Pach over the years. He will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his family.
