Edward Bunting Obituary
Mr. Bunting was a native of Newport News, Va., and had been a resident of Alexandria for the past 40 years.
Mr. Bunting was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Buck Bunting, as well as his brother, William Gerald Bunting.
He is survived by one sister; Barbara B. McLaughlin and her husband, Frank of Yorktown, Va.; nieces, Nadine Laszlo and her husband, Nick of McLean, Penny Vaughan and her husband, Chip of Richmond; great-nieces and nephews, Pierce and Anna Louise Laszlo, Corey and Tyler Vaughan.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at the home of Barbara and Frank McLaughlin. Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity or the American Cancer Society, 11835 Canon Blvd, Suite A-102, Newport News, VA 23606.

My brother, Harry, and Eddie were good friends in Newport News in the early 1960s. Harry passed away and joined his friend in everlasting peace May 31, 2015.

We remember Edward as a kind and loving child,always on the run. As teenagers, we were delighted when he replaced us at the card table happily playing cards with our Mother and Ruth and their friends.Our family was touched when he arrived unannounced at Mother's 80th birthday party making ita special day for her.Edward knew that the small kindnesses in life mean more than the grand gestures. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle person by my family. Our condolences to Sissie and her family.
