One of the shocks of growing older, is seeing an old friend's obituary. I first met Shirley when her Mom was so ill with Cancer,and she always made sure that any friend who came to the house was taken into her Mother's room to say hello. and to pay respects. That's the kind of thoughtful girl she was. She also had a wicked sense of humor, and had us in stitches over the silliest things.
