My condolences and expressions of loss to the King family. Brother King was quite an impressionable man. Kind , patient and well spoken. He mentored me with sound advice and humor. Brother King was one of a few in my close circle of advisors in Masonic Life. We were strong and had great times then. I remember some of his anecdotes fondly. I miss him..., and will continue to. God has blessed him! May God shower blessings on you!!

George,
Deacon King was a tremendous blessing in my life. He and I even shared the same birthdate! Receiving a card from him was such a treat. What a strong presence of man...a man of honor and great respect. His love for the Lord was deep and reverent. I pray for comfort for you and your family.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Mr. King's passing. I came to know him during my work at the Mary Williams Senior Center. It never ceased to amaze me when he would recite long passages from Shakespeare and other poems. He was a humble and "gentle"man. Always with a smile and a kind word. He will be missed by me and his friends at the Center. God's grace is sufficient to comfort you in your time of grief. My prayers and thoughts are with all the family.
Sincerely
Gale Kennon R.N.

Mr. King was my first supervisor when I came to UVA as a young 17 year old. He took me under his wings and often told me I reminded him of his daughter. He was a kind and wonderful person.
My sympathy goes out to the entire family. A great man has departed this life and homebound for a much greater reward.
God Bless...

Dear Brother George, my heart goes out to you and your family in this time of loss. Your father, Daddy King, just his very presence alone will be forever felt in his seat in the middle aisle at TMFBC. I will miss his warm hug and gently smile as he greeted me each Sunday morning. Let There Be Memories Let there be memories--fond recollections of special occasions and everyday things. Let your heart start on its journey to healing by feeling the comfort remembering brings. Let there be memories--pictures, mementos, and favorite stories both funny and sad. Let your mind wander the paths of remembrance, reliving the joys and the good times you've had. Let there be memories--signs that our loved ones remain near in spirit long after they're gone...tender, surprising, heartwarming, and welcome--sweet proof of the promise that love will live on.
