I have written a piece about Professor Kraehe for my blog (http://edwired.org/?p=473) that I hope captures the spirit of this wonderful man.

It is with sadness I learned of Enno's death. Have many fond memories of him sharing a lap lane with me at Crow Pool in Charlottesville. We often discussed books we were reading as I was a student of history. He brought me a book about the Adams women by the author whom he knew.
