Sadie Bonneau Obituary

Bonneau, Sadie Raye Born January 13, 1928 in Winters, TX to Arch E. and Viola Proctor. She went to be with her Savior Friday, February 27, 2009. She is survived by three children: Linda Polk, James Mitchel Thornton, and his wife Beth, Proctor Lee Thornton, and his wife Wen, eight grand children and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Deana Knight, of Farmers Branch, TX. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her first husband, James Maurice Thornton, her second husband, Charles Leland Bonneau, and her three brothers, Vernon Proctor, Richard Proctor and Ira Proctor. Sadie, her husband James, and their three children moved from Abilene, TX to Dallas, TX in 1961. Sadie was a hairdresser for 25 years at Park Forest Beauty Salon in Dallas. She and her family were members of The Farmers Branch Church of Christ for 48 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her great ability to love, her endless desire to take care of her family and her tenacious spirit will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas Sunday, March 1st from 3-5 PM. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 2nd at Restland at 2 PM.
