ROWLAND, , JOHN RICHARDS John Rowland 61 passed away on May 13, 2007 in Dallas TX. John was born on February 5, 1946 to Richards and Jane Rowland in Baltimore MD. John was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, son and brother. His children and grandchildren were his biggest joy. Originally from Houston, he moved to Dallas in 1989. He graduated in 1964 from Bellaire High School, and received his bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Texas in 1969. He was a CPA, and recently acquired his Texas Real Estate License. John was President of Page Boiler Works Inc. in Rockwall TX. He was an avid Texas Longhorn fan, and enjoyed golf, fishing, old cars and motorcycles. His love of history and restoration found him always working on home improvement projects. Survivors include his wife of 24 years Mindy Rowland; daughter Kerri Ann Rowland and husband Adam Haynes and grandsons Jackson and Marshall of Austin; son John Richards Rowland of Pekin IL; daughter Andrea Jane Rowland of Dallas; step-son Adam Keith Chumley of Dallas; mother Jane Rowland of Houston; sister Beth Logan of Lake Jackson TX; beloved pug Maggie. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at UTSW and Zale Lipshey Hospital for their care and devotion.
