John, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Katherine will always be in my heart and also for the rest of us still here at Mercy, it was a honor to know her. What class and elegance Katherine had about her. I feel blessed for having the opportunity to be able to work with her. Katherine made everyone she came in contact with feel special and that they were important, regardless of their job title but, that was Katherine. I know there are no words I can say that would express the sorrow I feel for you. Please remember God must really love you to bring Katherine to you and allowed the time the two of you had together. This is sent to you with my deepest sympathies.

Katherine was like a mother, sister, and best friend to all of us at Mercy Hospital. I will miss her terribly. Katherine was a beautiful lady, inside and out.She was the picture of grace, elegance, class and beauty. She will remain in my heart forever. I have asked my father (up in heaven) to take care of her as she took care of him when he underwent cardiac bypass surgery many years ago. She is in good hands. She is an angel among angels.

John - We are so saddened by the loss of Katherine. We are really at a loss for words, how do you possibly begin the story of Katherine and how much she was loved by all of us in San Diego. She was a beautiful person, so thoughtful, caring, and professional. It was such an honor to have shared our lives with her and you. We are so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful and supportive husband and friend you were to her during her long illness. It takes alot of love, strength and courage to watch someone who means so much to you slowly die. God bless you.
