Cory Schueler Obituary

SCHUELER, CORY HEALY, On Monday, January 28, 2008, Bill and Mary Schueler of Coppell, Texas lost their beautiful son, Cory. He was only 21 and was the victim in a battle with the demons of drugs. He has found internal peace in heaven now. Cory Healy Schueler was born August 29, 1986, in Coppell, Texas, where he lived all of his short life. Cory attended Mockingbird Elementary School, Coppell Middle School East and graduated from Coppell High School in 2005. He attended Oklahoma University and was currently a student at Northlake Community College. He loved sports and played soccer throughout junior and senior high school. He was also a member of the freshman football team at Coppell High School and played on the OU Lacrosse team. Along with his father and brother, he was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a computer wizard and enjoyed his weekend "lan" parties with his friends, lugging cumbersome computer equipment to each other's homes. Cory had a shrewd, quick wit, which he used often, much to the delight of his family and friends. In their darkest moment of grief, Cory's parents Bill and Mary very generously elected to donate Cory's organs, that others may live. Cory is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Mary Schueler, his sister Genni, his brother Kelly, his grandfather William D. Schueler, of Houston, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was dearly loved and will be painfully missed. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell on Friday, February 1st at 2:00PM. A reception will follow the service at the church. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service. The family has requested memorial donations be made in Cory's name to the following: Assistance League of Coppell, P.O. Box 2462, Coppell, TX 75019 or the Southwest Transplant Alliance, 3710 Rawlins, Ste. 1100, Dallas, TX 75219. Online condolences can be made at www.mulkeymason.com. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home 148 W. Church St. Lewisville, TX972-436-4581

Mr. and Mrs. Schueler and family,
A friend of mine e-mailed your sons obituary to see if my boys might have known Corey. My kids are a little younger and did not know him. However, I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to all of you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
