I was a friend of Tracy's at Park Place Baptist Church and when I went off to the Army and took a trip home in a very miserable Fiat, I stopped at your home. Tom was kind enough to help fix my car simply because he was kind. I will never forget that moment and I am glad to have met your family!

To the extended Dunn clan,

One of the promises that we claim as Christians is that we go to a better place. I am sorry for your loss, but I also celebrate the fact that Mr. Dunn is in the loving arms of our God. Our prayers are with you all.

Hermenia,

I was so saddened to read about Tom's death from this Obituary sent by Herb Kavanaugh. We missed Tom on our annual NASA retirees ski trips the last few years and so enjoyed his company on our long drives to Colorado. Marilyn and I got to know Tom more closely on those trips than in all the time I worked at NASA in the same Branch with him. We still remember fondly the time you had us as guests in your home returning from Colorado. Our prayers and sympathy are with you and your family.

Tom's family,

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Tom for several decades at NASA. He was truly one of the great guys, a fine engineer, and always a gentleman. His technical contributions to Space Shuttle themal protection sytem was a major reason for the success of this advanced state of the art system.

We will all miss Tom. God bless you.
