Mrs. Degnan and Family,
John was one of my first bosses when I started to work at Ben Arnold. He was a pleasure to work for and to work with. You all are in my thoughts.

To Mr. Degnan's Family,
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My husband worked with Mr. Degnan, and he was generous enough to do a stencil drawing of our two girls as a gift. I am eternally grateful for this gift, because we would never have been able to afford to capture our girls in this way. He was a talented man, and as I have read a great husband, father and friend. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate this next journey in your life. And please know that everytime I admire this drawing I will remember what a great man Mr. Degnan was.

I love you Daddy! I will miss you so much. You taught us many things that have served us so well through the years: living life to the fullest, laughter, confidence, self-esteem, strength, and most importantly, what it means to love unconditionally. You were always a great provider, full of wisdom, and a great example of what it means to be a loving parent. You are in Heaven with your Lord, and I am so thankful He blessed me with you as my Dad. You have left a legacy of love, and your smile will be in my heart forever.

I was sad to hear of John's passing. There are two things I learned about him during our time at work, that I truly respect. His love for you, and his family, and his will to fight for what he believes. I only met you once, but based on our conversations, I know you share the strong will that kept him going. I enjoyed the time we spent together and will always cherish my friend, John.

Mrs. Degnan,

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. He and I had become good friends during our time together at work. From our time I know two things about him I will always respect. His love for you, and his family, and his will to fight for what he believed. It seemed sometimes the two went hand in hand, such as with his illness. I only met you once but know from our conversations, John and myself, you are just as strong and generous as he. I am glad for the opportunity I had to get to know him and I am better for it.
