We were so sorry to hear about Rita. We enjoyed living next to your mom and dad for 25 years. They were such good neighbors and wonderful people. I know this is a hard time for all of you. Your mom was an exceptional person.

Aunt Rita was one of the most beautiful people on this earth in every possible way and I will dearly miss her patient, loving manner and just seeing her face. My heart goes out to all of you children and grandchildren, I love you all so much !

To all the Family, Your mom (and dad) were a wonderful support to me when I was at St. Therese. Rita was so proud of each of you...children and grandchildren. She saw you as a blessing with so much potential. I wish I were closer so I could attend services, but know that you are all held in my prayer. With love,

From the family: Mom was very proud of her Catholic faith and Irish ancestry. The family (and any friends who wish to join us) plan to wear something green (scarf, tie, button, necklace, etc.) in honor of mom. We just thought this would be fun...

I didn't have the pleasure to meet Rita, but knowing her son Dan for many years and hearing the many stories of their close knit family I know she had to be a wonderful person. I am so glad she got to make trips to Italy and Ireland and enjoy some pints with family abroad. She may be gone from our sight but her spirit lives on in the hearts of all the people she touched.
