Katherine Glenn Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 25, 2014.

Ann Glenn, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on March 23, 2014 at Linwood Care Center in Linwood, New Jersey, with her sister at her bedside.
She was born on December 2, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee. Her parents were Charles and Eula Bee Gresham.
Ann graduated from Bartlett High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. She was a beloved pre-school teacher at Grace St. Luke's School for 28 years.
Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and caring, loving, friend to many. She was creative – enjoying quilting, sewing, crafting, cooking and decorating. She especially loved sharing her creations and was thoughtful and generous. She loved her many Exotic Short-haired cats that she raised and showed. She also loved the beauty of nature, raising flowers to share. Ann had a cheerful, loving spirit and will be fondly remembered for her parting words of "Have as much fun as you can!"
Ann is survived by her daughter D'Ann Glenn and husband Ted Herzchel and their twin grandsons, Damon and Daniel; son, Max Glenn; brother, Will Gresham and his wife Dolores; sister, Eleanor and husband Jim Stanford; niece, Alison; nephews, Andy and Jeff; great-nieces, Andrea and Savannah; great-nephew Chase; and many cousins. Ann was preceded by the death of her parents Charles and Eula Bee Gresham.
A celebration of Ann's life will be at 3pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Grace. St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Memphis, with burial beside her parents at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hickory Withe. Online condolences may be made at www.FamilyFuneralMemphis.com
