Andy was a good friend and he helped me get through some hard times in foster care before getting locked up. RIP

Geez. I was just feeling nostalgic and looked up my junior high crush. We went to Morgan Park together. I crushed on him for years. He talked to me a couple times and defended me/us once. If I had any idea he was on such a path back then, I would have inserted myself into his life harder and been there for him. What a loss. RIP my beloved who should have been. Maybe you can be my angel now.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I knew Andy from treatment and he touched many lives there. He was a very kind and free spirited kid and had a heart of gold. He had a lot to offer in life and he will always hold a special place in my heart and will be missed by many.

Andy was a good friend of my son, Pete. I'll never forget his smile. May your sorrow for this loss be short-lived but the memory of this young man go on.

It was a shock to me personally to hear the loss of Andy. It is so heart felt because I personally knew him being in Narcotics Anonymous. He will always be in my heart. I don't cry or yell because of his death, I learn and pray. Hope the best for the family.

I was so sad when I seen Andy passed away, I had the privilege of meeting Andy back in the summer of 1984, when he was only 2 years old, going on 3. I always thought he was a great guy. I am so sorry about your loss.
