Tom was a great neighbor, a friend, and a dedicated family man. If ever anyone needed assistance, Tom was there. He would drop everything in order to help a friend or family. It is too bad that there are not more people in this world that had his same philosophy in life. God bless you Tom, for God found a new angle in his choir.

Growing with the Blair's in the 70's was interesting to say the least. When we were young, Tom was the one that had to keep Paul, Willie and me straight and out of trouble. Needless to say that was a tough task but Tom always did his best. One time Paul and I were fighting each other in the back yard. I forget what we were fighting about, but it was serious. Well Tom being Tom let us beat up on one another for awhile before he stepped in as the big brother and cousin to stop the fight. As he stepped in I threw a punch that hit Tom in the hand and broke his thumb. I thought for sure Tom was going to kick my butt and I was scared to death. But rather than beating the crap out of me he explained the importance looking out for one another instead of beating the crap of one another. That was probably 35 - 40 years ago, but that's just one of many lessons That I learned from Tom, and although I haven't seen Tom very often over the years, that's one lesson that I have passed on to my family. Thank you Tom. I love you like a brother. Your cousin, Carl

When I think of Tom I think of his big smile, his laugh, his sense of humor and I think of all the memories. The many trips to dinner and all the laughs that brought. Playing golf, travelling to New Orleans, our domino games even recovering our pet. These are memories, times I'll always cherish. What I'll miss is hearing Tom say "what's going on" in a vibrant voice when I call. Or "when you coming up". What I'll miss is future memories and most of all his friendship. Rest in peace my friend, you deserve it.

Tom was an exceptional person, one of the kindest, most caring people I've ever known. Every time I was around Tom, I felt truly loved and cared about. There were times in which I was going through my own difficulties and he would uplift my spirit with his smile, words of encouragement, and support; even while in the midst of his own trials and tribulations. I loved Tom and always will! I was blessed to have had him as my dear friend. God's blessings to his family during this most difficult time. With love and prayers, Patty

Tom was the oldest of 5 children. He was always there for the other 4 sibling, always! He had the most giving heart of any person I have known! He always took care of his parents, and his mother in law and father in law, no matter the need. He loved his wife unconditionally. He was so proud of his 4 children, they were his pride and joy, and he let everyone know it. He adored his 14 grandchildren with all his heart, he had so much love for his family and friends, we will miss him so much.

Tom was the very first person to welcome us to the neighborhood & didn't waste any time doing so, he approached us as we were taking a break from unloading the moving truck. He never stopped making us feel welcome either even through the tough times. He will be truly missed!
