Rosemary married Dr. Durward Paris on Oct. 24, 1959, in Kokomo, Ind., where they resided throughout their marriage. Rosemary was at her happiest when entertaining a houseful of family and friends, which she did with great style and aplomb. She and Durward filled their homes on South Lafountain and West Taylor Streets with much love - baking bread, drinking wine, perfecting Caesar salad, and laughing with dear friends. After moving closer to family later in life, she quickly became social chairman of Cincinnati's Jordan Park Condominiums, where she enjoyed hosting many a cocktail hour discussions around her little green table. Rosemary attended Grace United Methodist Church and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kokomo, and St. Gertrude Parish in Cincinnati. She was an avid volunteer for numerous organizations including the Hospital Cheer Guild, Meals on Wheels, and the Mariemont (Ohio) Preservation Foundation. She was also a member of Symposium and PEO. Rosemary's daughter, Julie Paris Klosterman, is joined in her grief by her daughters, Katharine Paris Klosterman, Ellen Paris Klosterman, Olivia Paris Klosterman, and her partner, Daniel Grundmann. Also surviving are Rosemary's loving siblings, Margie Rosswurm, Christine Hoevel, Jerome (Theresa) Hoevel, all of Fort Wayne, and Al (Jane) Hoevel of Washington, Ind.; and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Durward Paris; parents, Cletus and Adelaide Hoevel; and sister, Mary Agnes Davis. A Mass of Christian Burial Celebration is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo, Ind., where friends are invited to visit with the family from noon 1:15 p.m. The Rev. Father Theodore Dudzinski is the celebrant. Private entombment in the Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Patrick's Church, the Mariemont Preservation Foundation, or a charitable organization of the donor's choice. "It is her family's sincere hope that, now, finally, she can get a word in edgewise." Arrangements by Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematorys.
