To Linda's family, I was sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Linda in the early 80's when I was a parole officer. I always appreciated her bubbling personality and enthusiasm. I just learned of her passing (April 2, 2006) so I apologize for this late guest book entry. It is my hope you take comfort in knowing you will meet again when all is said and done. May God comfort and bless you.

Dear Barth, Tim, Cindy, Eva, Gavin, Kevin, Heather, Ryan and Ashley, Matthew, Elizabeth and Ezra~

I am so sorry that we couldn't come for the services. I adored Linda as if she were my own sister, and was always in awe of all of her accomplishments, her talents, her one-of-a-kind laugh (I can still hear her laughter in my heart)...and I am going to miss her more than you know. I cherish the last letter that I received from her, and when we last spoke on the phone, she said, "I'll call you back." I know that she and I will talk again someday, somewhere. You're all her treasured legacy, and as long as we hold her so close in our hearts, she will always be with us. I love her, and miss her something fierce. I'll miss her good advice, her sense of humor and her unfailing optimism that was always balanced with reality. I love her, and I love you all. She was so rightfully proud of each and every one of you. You've just got to know that she's watching over you with such love and pride--now and always. No words are ever enough for such a huge loss, but please know that my heart is there with you.

With all my love,

(Aunt) Elaine

Linda--

You were larger than life to me with all of your lifetime over-achievements...a hard act to follow for the "invisible" Butler family member. I love you and will forever cherish the memories and final moments we spent together while I was off work this past summer, and I was honored to be with you as you left this life on earth and you entered your journey to eternity. I know in my heart that you are in a better place, but you will be missed by all of us who love you. Until we meet again...

Your loving "much younger" sister, Jan

I am so sorry to read of your loss. Linda was a drug rep that came into the office I work at in Avilla. She was always so happy and such a joy to visit with. She would bring in pictures of her gardening and her family and was always so proud of each and everyone. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

As Linda's Oregon cousin I was far removed from regular communication with her but was delighted when she and Barth visited here three years ago. I miss her and look forward to meeting her again when Christ returns and resurrects His followers.
