Beverly Graham Obituary
A native of Kent, Bege was born June 29, 1950 in Akron, to Charles T. and Beverly A. (Bugelholl) Graham. She was a 1968 graduate of Kent State High School, and attended St. Petersburg Junior College in St. Petersburg, Fla. Bege worked in Atlanta as a dental technician and sales rep., and was then employed for many years with Merrill Lynch in their Atlanta, Akron, Chagrin Falls and Hudson offices. After retiring she studied for and received her pharmacy tech license, a field she loved going back to her days at Thompson Drug Store. She was currently employed at ZellMed in Akron. Bege was a Red Cross volunteer and a member of the Emerald Necklace MG club. She enjoyed traveling, golf, cruising in her MG and holding court on her front porch. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to her wonderful neighbors and friends and the special Angels at Robinson Memorial Hospital Hospice.
She is survived by her sister, Deb (Ralph) Paisley of Kent; sister-in-law, Sandy Graham of Twin Lakes; niece, Katie (Graham) Phillips of Maryland; dear friend and soul mate Al Butler; faithful dog, Sydney; and many friends locally and around the country. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Doug and Jeff Graham.
A celebration of Bege's life will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the United Church of Christ of Kent with Rev. David Pattee officiating. A reception will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RMH Foundation-Hospice, P.O. Box 1204, Ravenna, OH 44266 or the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.

I worked with Bev at Omnicare for a short time but she said deciphering Rx's wasn't for her. All you would hear was @#%$! and then that laugh. We all remember that laugh and oh how can we forget her wearing 2 pairs of glasses at the same time. She always made us smile. Please find comfort in your memories.

Deb, Ralph & Sandy,
I was stumbling around on the internet and happened to catch a note from Jay Moore about Bege's passing. My heart sunk. I remember back to when your Dad, Mom, Doug and Jeff passed and it brought back so much. I don't know what else to say but to let you know that I am praying for all of you right now and will continue to remember each of you in my prayers each day. I am led to 2 passages that may bring some comfort: Exodus 34:14 and if you can read Psalm 91. God's love and covering over you.

Deb -- My heart goes out to you, Ralph and all the other friends and relatives that will miss her so. What I remember best was her wonderful sense of humor. She was special -- but, of course, you know that! I love you and think of you often.

Deb, Ralph & Sandy - We are so sad to hear about Bege's passing. We are thinking of you all at this time and remembering all the fun times we had as kids. I'll always remember hanging out in your basement listening to Bill Cosby on the stereo and Bege doing "Niagra Falls....slowly I turn, step by step..." Good times. I'm glad she didn't have to suffer for long. You're all in our prayers! Hope to see you when I'm out in Ohio the weekend of 9/10 for my reunion at HHS.

We loved Bege so much! She was one of the best neighbors you could have! Always kept an eye out for all of us! Especially our kids and our pets :) Our kids thought she was great too! She will be so sadly missed. I know she is looking down on us happy to see us enjoying talking about her while sitting on her porch :)

My mother and Bege formed a long lasting friendship after meeting while bowling in a league at Kent Lanes. They traveled all over together, always celebrated each others birthdays. Bege was "family" at many family gatherings. She could make you "giggle" on your worst day! Bege you will be in our hearts forever. Our deepest sympathies go out to your family.

I worked with Bev for several years at Dean Witter and also helped her coach softball in Kent for a couple of seasons. She was a wonderful and giving person who became a good friend. We had lost touch over the past 10 years but I thought of her often. My deepest sympathies to her family.

We have lived next door to Bev for the past 5 years. She has been the best neighbor anyone could ask for, and more importantly, a friend. She always took care of us, looked after us, and always had time to talk. She loved sitting on her front porch, enjoying the nice weather, chatting with everyone and watching over the neighborhood. She was loved by all and her smiling face and contagious good mood will be dearly missed. She was so full of life and love! Our lives and our neighborhood will not be the same without her. I have many happy memories of Bege. She always had a smile, a sense of humor and would laugh at anything. When she turned 50 she talked me into getting a tatoo with her! I'll miss her greatly

I was deeply saddened to learn of Bege's passing. She was a classmate and friend of mine at Kent State University School from 1957 till our graduation in 1968, and there are many fond memories.
