NEWMAN, SARAH ANN, 33, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital.

She was a native of Louisville and was a Butler High School graduate Class of 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Louisville in 2000 and a Master's Degree in psychology from University of Kentucky in 2003. She was also a member of the University of Louisville Alumni Association, volunteered at Michael Brent Resource Center at Frasier Rehab Center and was a former counselor for the Department Vocational Rehabilitation.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Anna Marie Newman; and great-grandmother Gwyn Spalding.

She is survived by her parents ,Mark and Pam Newman; brother, Nathan Newman; grandmother, Wanda McDonald and grandfather James Newman.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call noon-8 p.m. Wednesday.
