ISABEL KOTLER Obituary

Isabel Ann Kotler, age 99, died quietly at home on Oct. 9, 2012. She was born in Galveston, TX and resided in Illinois since 1920. A member of the Glencoe Garden Club and past president of her temple sisterhood. She was a world traveler, having been on six continents including over 20 visits to Israel. Devoted daughter of the late Fannie Migel and Meyer Krulewich; beloved wife of the late Abe L. Kotler; survived by two sons, Yosef Sa'ar (Lea Latin) and Robert Louis (Yoko Kono); four grandchildren, Efrat, Mikhal (Elad Omer), Aviram and Michael David; one great granddaughter Shikha Omer. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Elcrat, brothers Migel (the late Cecile) and Gilbert (the late Myrtle) King . A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. at Temple Sholom of Chicago, 3480 N. Lake Shore Drive. Interment will follow at Memorial Park, Skokie. She was the last survivor of her generation, which includes her siblings and all 35 first cousins. Special thanks to her long-time caregiver Evelyn Zamora.
