LAWRENCE KAPLAN Obituary
Lawrence Kaplan, beloved husband of the late Elayne; devoted father of Mary Nan (Robert) Wagner, Craig (Mary Beth), and the late Murray Kaplan; grandfather of Brandon, Casey, and Rebecca; brother of the late Renee Brodsky; uncle of Steven and Jeffrey Brodsky and cousin of many. Service Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at 11 AM at Westlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7801 W. Montrose Avenue; Norridge, where the interment will follow. A memorial service will also be held Wednesday 7 PM at The Park of Olympia Fields, 3633 E. Breakers Drive, Olympia Fields. Contributions may be made to Congregation Am Echad, 160 Westwood Drive; Park Forest, IL 60466. Arrangements entrusted to Lakeshore Jewish Funerals, 773-435-1558.

Although this is my first message, because I was not aware of Lawrence's passing, I do have very nice memories. And that is because he and Renee and I went to Myra Bradwell school first, and then South Shore High. Both were always wonderful friends/classmates. I am sure all of your family feels very blessed to have had him/them in your lives!

To Craig Mary Beth, Mary Nan and all the Kaplan family. My heart and prayers go out to you. Love you all, and surely will miss Larry. He was always a good friend to us. I will talk to you soon.

Sending sympathy and prayers to all of Larry's family. Though it has been many years since seeing him (and Renee), they were very special friends during the many years at Bradwell and South Shore. I'm sure there are a lot of folks who feel the same, and share your loss. God Bless.
