Ruth LISSNER Obituary

Ruth A. Lissner, age 90; beloved wife of the late Harry; loving mother of Allison (the late Edward Kozin and the late Charles) Calisoff, and Richard (Ruth L.) Lissner; proud grandmother of Dina, Michael, Keith, Paul, Clifford, Lisa, Benjamin, Michael, Tracie, and Martha; great-grandmother of Jack, Joey, Audry, Vivien, and Ruthie; dear daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Ziven. Her family and friends will deeply miss this extraordinary woman. Service Tuesday 2 PM at Westlawn Cemetery Chapel, 7801 W. Montrose Avenue, Norridge, where interment will follow. Entrusted to Lakeshore Jewish Funerals, 773-435-1558.

dear richie & alison,i have many fond memories of your mother,she was one tough lady who always spoke her mind,i remember many times when we had family poker games at our house,she always played with the guys & certainly held her own,she will be missed.

Doesn't seem so long ago. We were 'kids on the block', and, almost daily, in and out of each others houses. We were a part of each others families lives....so fondly remember your mom, always so welcoming and kind. I am sorry for your loss and extend my most sincere condolences.
