May 25, 1948 - January 12, 2019 Francis passed away peacefully on January 12 surrounded by his family. For the past two years Francis had battled courageously with a myriad of health problems, never complaining but quietly battling on. Pre-deceased by his father Louis, Francis leaves behind his mother Evelyn, sisters Valerie (Rick) and Deloures (David) and brother, Kerry (Elvira). Francis was a favorite uncle and will be missed by his nephews, Richard, Eric, Matthew, Ryan, Gavin and Gareth and all his great nephews and nieces. Francis worked as a receiver at The London Health Science Centre for many years. A special thank you to Dr. Teefy and the dedicated staff of the Cardiac Unit at University Hospital, and all the in-home service providers who helped Francis in his final days. A Funeral Service and a Celebration of Francis' life will be held on Thursday January 17th, 2019 at 11 am at O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London, Ontario. Francis requested donations, if you are so inclined, to be made in his memory to the London Health Sciences Foundation, University Hospital, Cardiac Care Program, 747 Baseline Rd. Peacefully at Westmount Gardens London, on Saturday, January 19, 2019, Pietro Di Cicco in his 105th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Domenica Di Cicco. Loving father of Pasqua Di Cicco (the late Benedetto) and Loreta Di Cicco (Guerino). Caring grandfather of Maria Di Cicco (Ian), Cinzia Meddoui (Ali), Gaetano Di Cicco (Paula Brown), Anna Marcoccia (Angelo) and Silvia Pompilii (Dani). Cherished great-grandfather of Kaila, Alexandra, Haley, Ciara, Ryan, Ty, Ava, Roman and Bella. Predeceased by all his brothers and sisters. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Tuesday from 2:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, York at Lyle Streets, on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. On January 16th 2019, two days after celebrating her 95th birthday with family and friends, Tillie passed away surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Steve (1988), daughter-in-law Mary Anne, parents Mike and Mary Zubyk and her special friend Stan McParland. Mother of Mike (Mary Ellen), Pat (Tim), Grandmother of Bob (Kelly), Debi (Brian) and Steve (Samantha). Great-grandmother of Nolan, Peyton, Dryden, Kaiden and Declan. Cousin of Bob and Jennie Martin. Tillie lived a long and fulfilling life. Tillie was born in 1924 in the village of Skomoroshe, Ternople, Ukraine. She was well known in the Ukrainian community as well as in Lambeth where she and Steve owned and operated Haylo's Lunch for many years. She will be remembered by her family in London and Brantford. Tillie enjoyed the company of many friends including Ann Bilyk, Mary Foglton, Muriel Payne and Rita Wilms. Special thanks to the staff of Longworth Retirement Home and the staff at Victoria Hospital's seventh floor. Thank you to Doctor Dawid Martyniak and Father Pio D'Oria for their care and attention. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Monday January 21st, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Divine Church on Tuesday January 22nd at 11:00 a.m., with an hour of visitation prior at the church. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca. Donations can be made to St. John the Divine Parish or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prayers Monday at 7:00 p.m.
