OWENS, CORNELIA E., 89, died at home April 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert W. Owens; brother, W. E. "Bud" Eckerle; sister, Joan E. Richie; and grandson, Kristopher K. Owens.

Survivors include her children, Kathy, Rob (Caroline), John, Nancy Fountain (David), Joan Henehan (Paul), Gwyn Taylor (Gary Tiller) and family friend Sandy Walker; grandchildren, Molly Dixon, Miles, Jenny, and Emily Owens, Amanda Artifon, Erin Taylor, Sam and Sophie Henehan; two great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kenneth Owens; sister-in-law, Pat Eckerle; and five nieces; and one nephew.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. on Sunday at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road. The funeral service will be on Monday at noon at Saint Martins of Tours Church, 639 South Shelby Street, Louisville.
