Polly Combs Obituary

LOUISVILLE - Polly Jean Hogg Combs, 83, of Louisville passed away Tue, Feb 14, 2012 at Friendship Manor with her family by her side. She was a retired teacher for the Broward County Public School System in Florida, a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Arthur W. Combs. She is survived by her children, Dr. Anna Smythe and Melody Minogue (Michael); sister, Nancy Hogg; grandchildren, Emily, Joshua and William Minogue and Laura Smythe. The family has requested private services through Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to First Light Home Care of Louisville, Barton House of Louisville, KY or Friendship Manor of Pewee Valley.
