Mildred Eileen Olson

Olson, Mildred Eileen (Tyni) was born October 3,1925 to August and Anna (Wuollet) Tyni in Minneapolis, MN. She passed away on October 19,2011 at Colonial Acres in Golden Valley, MN at the age of 86. Mildred had 4 sisters and 2 brothers and graduated from North High School in Minneapolis. Mildred married LeRoy Robert Olson on June 17, 1944 and they spent most of their married life in Brooklyn Center, MN. She was a godly wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her family. She was employed by Sears for over twenty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, daughter, Brenda Hampton Rooke, both her mother and father, sisters Martha Gerber, Helen Whaley, Elna Kuhlmey, and brothers Kenneth Latvala, Glen Tyni. Mildred is survived by her children, Barbara (Glen) Ramsborg of Arlington Heights, IL, Bonnie (James) Gallo of Suffolk, VA and Brian (Cyndi) Olson of Crystal, MN. She has 9 grand- children, Nathalie (Brian) Johnson, Christopher (Laura Karassik) Ramsborg, Andrew (Ashleigh) Gallo, Janelle Ramsborg, Brynn (Brian) Sobocinski, Eryn (Titus) Conley, Lauren Gallo, Bryce Olson and John Olson. She was great-grandmother to 10, Blake Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Tyler Sobocinski, Lillian Gallo, Madelyn Sobocinski, Annalyse Johnson, Aubrey Gallo, James Gallo, Cossette Conley and Judah Ramsborg. Private interment will be at Crystal Lake Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28 at 1 PM in the Commons Room at Colonial Acres, 5825 St. Croix Avenue N.
