Conrad E. Eick

Conrad E. Eick, retired Aerospace technician, of Colorado Springs and formerly of Metamora, Michigan and Orange, California, born September 23, 1936 in Rochester, Michigan to Edward and Ellen (Lovell) Eick, went home to be with the Lord October 21, 2007 after a lengthy struggle with cardiovascular disease. He is survived by son, David (Lori) Eick, of Colorado Springs and two grandchildren, Anna Eick and Wesley Eick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Eick, of Orange, California; his parents; and brothers, Clarence and Charlie Eick, of Michigan. Conrad served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps. He served during the Korean War and was a proud Cold War Veteran. Conrad retired in 1992 from Brunswick Defense Co. of Costa Mesa, California, and moved to Colorado soon after to be close to his remaining family. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance. Graveside services are planned for Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Fairhaven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, California.
