Terry, it was an honor and privilege to be a spectator in Washington D.C. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Words cannot explain the heartfelt loss you, the U.S. Navy, and Federal Bureau of Prisons family have endured since this tragic incident. Your son was blessed with a genuine extended family, the Federal Bureau of Prisons! Love, Compassion, and Support is something untamed to human heart!! To see such empathy pour out to you nationwide, was phenomenal and amazing. My tears could not keep with what my heart felt. It gave me a whole new meaning to a “close knit family.” The love for son, who will forever be a “brother” to many, will never be forgotten. His excellence, respect, and integrity, will be embraced forever!!! And now I would like to contribute my LOVE, COMPASSION, and SUPPORT to you all in the annual remembrance of Jose “Peabody” Rivera.
