Some gave all. Thinking of you and your family on this Veterans day.
Joe, Words cannot even express how much I miss you. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and wish you were here with us. I can't believe it's been 3 years already...it seems like just yesterday that we lost you. I love you more than words can say!
Your friend always,
Taryn
Tomorrow will be tough for us because we miss you and can not hug you. Your brother will start in his first varsity game and has dedicated his season to you.
Miss you,
Dad

Joe,
What can I say but its been almost three years ...but it still feels like yesterday we were talking about life and were trying to help me decide what I really wanted. You were my friend, protector, my brother and not a day goes by that I don't think of what you. Your memory helps me stay strong and will be with me always.
Joe,
You were my big brother's friend, and really a hometown hero, you made such a positive impact on my brother Fernando, and he was so proud of you and he was devasted when we got the news. We prayed for you and for your family. Fernando passed away from a car crash 03 April, 2005,I lost my brother and I still grieve for him to this day. I just wanted to let your family know just how many lifes you touched, even lives that passed on to eternity. God bless you and your family, and also please send my big brother a "hello,". Thanks-
Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class,
