To the family of Mrs.Rachel Lehmann she sounds like an extra-ordinary person on this earth. I did not know her personally and I have only lived a fraction of her 105 years, but I do know that you all would like to see her again. Well you can! At John 5:28 and Revelation 21:4,5 God promises that we will see our dead loved ones again on a Paradise earth. This is no fantasy I assure you. Meanwhile though pray to “the God of all Comfort” for strength.
I do send my deepest condolences...
I, too will miss Rachel and all of her hugs and kind words. She never failed to give a hug when I would see her at the opera, either as a performer or as a spectator. God bless you, Rachel; you really were one of the good ones!
Adiós Rachel, thank you for being such an inspiration for a joyful and meaningful life.
Rachel will live on in our hearts as an example of woman with incredible strength, a beautiful spirit, strong compassion, a wonderful sense of humor and the kind of attitude that keeps you happy your whole life. It was infectious to others. She will be missed.
Our sympathy to her wonderful family.
Love, Sandra and Ron Rousseau
I met Rachel 25 years ago when we both voluntered at the Fox Theatre as ushers and as members of the Friends of the Fox, an organization created to help save the theatre from destruction. She came to my wedding at the Fox and gave me a hand made pot holder, which I still have today. I hope to be like her when I grow up! Kim Kenemer King
