Ann, I am so sorry to hear of your mom passing. I met her once while Sam was a student of yours. I don't remember the circumstances, but he and I met you at her place. On another note, it was great to think of you and remember those days when Sam E, Robin, and Sam were the 3 Musketeers. What a wonderful couple of years they had with you. I hope you are well. I just wanted to express my sympathy for the loss of your mother. I lost my mother when she was 93, and I'm sure that both lived long full lives. Even so, there is still a loss.
We were so sorry to hear of your loss from Uncle Bob (Robert Rayner). I hope it can bring you some peace knowing that she is in heaven with so many loved ones. You are in our thoughts.
Your devotion to your mom in that last few years, that she be surrounded by family and feel secure, was an inspiration to me. You put aside part of your own lives for her and you seemed to do so with complete love. She raised amazing daughters. I'm sorry for your loss.
