so long, for now, soupy. we need to get your shows on cd's, so that the rest of the world can mellow out, respect each other, and, enjoy the good times you brought to us. i will never forget you & you will always be my #1 funnyman!! nobody could ever duplicate you, but, i hope that they learned from you & your show. god bless you & your family & may the soupy sales show live on forever. thank you soupy for giving me great childhood memories! someday we'll share a soup & sandwich together in heaven. i'll love you always.

Used to honk at Soupy on my way to work on the Edsel Ford Expressway in Detroit many years ago. He would always wink and wave. RIP
