I really appreciate the kindness Jim showed toward my two boys, Madison and Jakin, after a long, tiring day of flying... I, as many, many others, will miss him for a long time.

Jim Leroy was an innovater in the airshow industry. He was a founding memember of the Masters of Diaster team, with Jimmy Franklin and Bobby Younkin. After a crash between Jimmy and Bobby at the 2005 Shaskasuan airshow in Canada, Jim continued the X-team, as everyone in the X-team is going to do now. Jim would have said, lets get going, lets get it on, and thats what were trying to do. Jim is survived by his wife, and his 4 year old son Tommy Leroy. I've seen Jim Leroy perform many times, two times in the X-team acts. The first time I saw him was at Oceana, in 2005, where he performed the X-team act very similar to this one, with 1 pilot. The next and last time I saw Jim was at the 2006 Airpower over Hampton Roads airshow, at Langley AFB,VA. Jim also performed his solo acts there, friday, saturday, and sunday, along with the X-team. When the X-team performed, everyone would line the fences, and be in amazement as they performed. Rest in Peace Bulldog

Jim was my aerobatic flight instructor, we flew, we sweat, we laughed and most of all I learned to be a better pilot and a better man. Jim was and still is my idol and bar none the best aerobatic pilot who ever lived, pilots will discuss and train and attempt to reproduce his maneuvres at Jim´s level of perfection for years to come.
He will be missed... Blue skies buddy and godspeed.
