Doyle was of a true "pilgrim" character and my friend. Claudia and their children are very precious to me. I trust our God to give the necessary grace to lighten the load and bring peace at this time
Dear Claudia and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless

TRIBUTE TO DOYLE SOUSER
My relationship with Doyle was B.C. ( before Claudia ) We were fellow members of the FarmHouse, an academic fraternity at Colorado State University. It was a fraternity composed of young men from rural backgrounds. Many great memories and friendships resulted from those years. I remember times with Doyle and others discussing weather, economics, politics, and girls. We also talked about God and faith. It was during those years that our faiths developed and both Doyle and I began to turn our lives over to Christ’s direction.
After college, we ended up in Denver, I in medical school and Doyle in his first accounting job. Doyle recruited me to the Careers class at Calvary Temple, where my faith continued to grow and I met many wonderful people. It was also during that time that we made the “TRIP”. Doyle talked me and three other guys into buying motorcycles and taking a two week tour of the Northwest. I can still hear my folks saying, “You bought a motorcycle? You are doing what? Are you crazy?” It was crazy. It rained every day, we got lost, we had crashes, we had breakdowns, we had arguments. But you know what? It was also one of those special bonding experiences that I will always treasure.
Soon after that trip, I met my future wife, Robin, and Doyle met Claudia. We went out separate ways, I to Washington State and Doyle to California, pursuing our careers and raising our families, keeping touch through Thanksgiving and Christmas cards. Even though our paths will not cross until the Lord decides to take me home, I will always be grateful for the times we had together
Doyle Souser is a man of God, his faith was genuine, a man of character, who was instrumental in my early faith walk.
My heart goes out to Claudia and Doyle’s family. My prayers are with you during this time of loss.
