Gordon was a beautful person both inside and out, and I wish I could have met him, however he will always be remembered fondly and for being the best TARZAN ever. What a man he was - May you rest in peace my friend.
I first encountered Gordon Scott as a 12 year old child, as I watched, fasinated, as he swung through the sound-stage jungle of "Tarzan and the Lost Safari" and my life was never the same again. Fifty-one years later and his films still remind me of how Great a jungle lord he was! Rest in Peace, Gordon!
Gordon, as he played Tarzan, represented to me all that was vigorous, handsome, vital, strong, fair, and spirited in a man. I married someone who had those qualities and have never been sorry. Thank you Gordon, for your portrayal which spoke to a young girl so well. I miss you.
