Al lived a rich, long life. I enjoyed learning even more about it through his obituary. His kindness, integrity, intelligence, and temperate personality made him loved by many. I was honored to consider him family. Rest in Peace, Al! Helynne, you are in our thoughts!
Helynne -- sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts are with you.

When we say "Al" I am pretty sure most of us get the same image: a good guy, humble, a gentleman.
I come from Al's business side. I worked with him for 25 years and enjoyed every interaction.
On Al's business side he was "Gold"; never let you down and always had the customer in-mind. He and Cohen Machine, (hard to separate the two) are an institution.
I don't know this for a fact but am pretty sure Al was, and is, "Gold" in his personal life.
Friend of Al,
We are so fortunate to have known such a man as, Al. He was a warm, kind and gentle soul. He would not hesitate to help fix our mower or generator when they broke. With a dog in tow and a flashlight in hand, he would escort the children on those dark Halloween nights when work would keep one of us from being available. He was a lifelong learner and took interests in so many subjects. He so loved his family and was proud of them. We will miss our dear neighbor and friend!
