Knowing Arlene was one of the greatest joys of my life. She will always be an inspiration to me, and I will always love her. "Weeping may endureth for a night, but joy cometh (again) in the morning..." (Psalms - slightly modified)
My sincere sympathy goes out to you. Arlene was a very special lady. I was in Mother's Club with her for many years and also on the Howard Area Benefit Board, which I am so happy you are supporting in her honor. She was so well traveled and read. I always enjoyed the books Arlene would recommend.
God Bless you all, Maureen Quinn
Arlene Haney was beautiful inside and outside. She spread goodwill and friendship to all who knew her. How fortunate I am to have shared that special aura with her through our Book Club. From faraway Sun City I hope the empathy of her many friends is a comfort to her family. She will live in heart always.
Hello Haney Family,
I am very sad to hear of Arlene's passing. I am rejoicing for her as she is no longer suffering or in pain and is now able to do the things she loved doing, but am sad for all of you now learning to adjust to life without her.
Arlene was an amazing woman and she touched my life deeply in many different ways. I treasure the time I had with her and will smile when I think of her sense of humor and how her eyes twinkled when she told me a secret or something mischievous.
Know I am thinking of all of you and remembering you in prayer during your time of grieving.
Hugs to each of you.
Kathy & Tom, My sincere sympathy to the entire Haney family, especially to Tom's Dad Bill.
You are all in my thoughts & prayers.
