Sending my love and deep sympathy to the entire Fretz family! Pastor Artie was kind and loving and gracious when my family had to relocate from Pensacola, FL to come live with my parents until we found housing. It was a rough time in my life and Pastor was just so kind and encouraging through it...Even when my then toddler son Ben busted out of the nursery and ran yelling into the church vestibule interrupting Pastor's sermon...much to the chagrin of the Pritt girls in the nursery! :)
Precious memories! I know his road was definitely not an easy one, and I'm grateful that he is now with Jesus.

Artie was a kind dear brother in The Lord. He was gentle and Christ-like. In all of his accomplishments, he never once bragged about himself. Artie was one you liked to talk to. He loved people in spite of his suffering. He will be missed by many but we know he is in a far better place. "Well done, faithful servant!". No more sorrow and suffering. Perfect peace.

Rejoice that he is with the Savior that he loved and served and may that ease your pain for your loss.

All our family has fond memories of Pastor Fretz and his family. We are thankful for the friendships our two families shared in Christ. Pastor Fretz was an encourager of the Word, and he lived by faith. We will never forget him and are thankful God caused our paths to cross. We pray for strength and grace to his family, that only God can give during this time and in the days to follow. God is Faithful!

Art Fretz will always be Pastor Fretz to me and my family. We all adored him so. A word he used often is also a good word to describe him: Gracious. He loved the Lord, his family and his church family and friends. When I first heard of his passing, I thought of one thing: Art, resting in the arms of Jesus! With the many peaks and valleys that Art experienced, he truly is resting in God's arms now.
