Betty always had a welcoming smile that made you want to stay and talk for a while. She always managed to look 10 years younger than she was, and I'm glad she was able to remain so active until she became ill. We will miss her. Our best to all the family. Larry Mitchell
Betty was my daughter's first daycare provider. Back in 1977. I trusted her with my most important, God-given possession, so I could return to work. I had been a classmate of Buzzie's, back in The Plains Elementary School years, and knew all the "Buck Girls." I am so sorry for your loss. Your mama was a wonderful person. My daughter is nearly 37 years old, yet I have not forgotten the influence she had. God bless.
We were sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was always so warm and friendly to us, and never missed an opportunity to stop and chat when we would run into her. She loved her family and was proud of them. We send
warm wishes to all of you. Linda Mitchell
Betty played a integral part in my life and the lives of my children (Brad and Jill). She help raise them to become wonderful adults. Betty was the best child care provider that a family could ever hope to have, she will be greatly missed.
