Ralph and family, You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. You and Betty have always been special friends and great dinner hosts throughout our career at Purdue. We have many fond memories of Betty and your family. Scott & Sue Abney
Ralph and family, Our deepest sympathy for Betty's passing. Unfortunately Walt and I will not be there. I am glad that we did visit her in 2012 when she was still at home.
Walt will be in St. Antonio, TX with the Potato Seed potato conference. I would find it difficult to drive down alone. We will make a memorial to the Alzheimer and Dementia Alliance here in Madison in her name.
I am so sorry for your loss. Betty was always so pleasant and kind to me and it was always refreshing to take "time out" and sit and talk with her.
we are so sorry to hear about Betty Death but she had a good life here and has a better life now.
sincerely Nancy and Mary Carnahan
