Carlos Gene Benjamin, Sr.
I'm not even sure I've been able to sort out what's in my heart, much less put it into words. I'll miss my dad. I know that much. I want to thank all of you for your kind words of support and encouragement. This has been most difficult but also very rewarding and the rewarding part is because of all of you. Thank you so much.
After having some time to reflect on all that was the sum total of my Dads life,he has succeeded in setting the bar so very, very high for those of us who follow him. I hope one day my children will be able to look back at my life and feel the same overpowering level of inspiration and conviction that I am now experiencing as a result of my dads example through his life.My HERO may no longer be able to walk with me here, but he sure did set the mark to be achieved through his service and devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I've always wanted to be like my dad, Now more than ever.
Jesus has received another one of His sheep. We in years passed have enjoyed Carlos ministry when we lived in Ulysses, Ks. and were members of the Free Will Baptist Church. Our sympathys go out to the family.
Carlos and Mary and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your sudden loss of dad. We know where our dad's are, walking on golden streets with Jesus! May your memories and Christ's Hope sustain you now during this time. I wished I could have had some time with you before you left Wichita. Love you much! xoxo
My Uncle Carlos was always fun, Playing his guitar and singing 50 years ago. Thanks for his influence on his kids. Calos Jr, Mike and Robin. I hope you find confort knowing he is with Larry.
