Sharlene, Julian and Lexi; I don't know you but I have always felt that I did. Charlie was a good friend during his all too brief carrer with OPEX. We had the chance to talk a number of times about life, his illness and his determination to squeeze every moment out of life, to love his family as he did so deeply and profess his strong faith in God and the hereafter. My sympathy to you and your loss, knowing that as briefly as I knew Charlie, I really knew his soul and his love of life and his family. May God's sprit always sustain and comfort you in the happy memories wisdom he brought to life! A fellow Sales Engineer with OPEX from San Francisco CA
I first met Charlie many years ago when he and my sister Myra worked together at Pitney Bowes. I reconnected with Charlie when his children were students in the pre-college program here at UNC Charlotte. Charlie was a truly awesome friend and a fantastic father. My sister and I will truly miss him.
To the Abbott Family,
I came to know Charlie when we both worked at The Network Companies. He was such a gentleman and always had a smile and kind word for you. I just heard this sad news today and wanted to let you know how sorry that I am for you loss.
Sharlene, Julian and Lexi, I just heard today about Charlie. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man and co-worker. He was very proud of all of you. May he find rest and eternal peace.
My deepest condolences to the entire family. May the God of all comfort strengthen you and give you peace.
