Chuck was a very special uncle. With my brother Jerry and I spending our teenage summers in Frisco, he always made things fun and interesting and was just a great guy to be around. We spent many enjoyable hours together hiking, jeeping, fishing, go-carting and just hanging around the service station. I especially remember hiking to high country lakes by Quandary Peak, trying to talk him into driving his jeep over an 1890's rickety old wood bridge and going to movies like Cat Ballou. After I married he continued to be supportive and a positive influence in my life. He even helped me get summer jobs working with him for the Forest Service. I truly enjoyed knowing and spending time with him.
Chuck was a friend to our family in Frisco, Colorado in the early 1950's We wish him peace in the hereafter and our sympathy to his family.
