Grandpa, you are missed. We may have lived further then we would have liked, but I hope that you have always known the deep respect that I have for you over these years. I am grateful for every time that we have had over the years and glad that we got to talk one last time before you departed. Love ya. See you on the other side.
I first met Clarence back in the '70's at the Owosso Fire Dept. I had started there just before he retired. I next met him at the Ovid HealthCare Center. I was visiting a friend there with my therapy dog Rusty. We talked about old times, got each other up to date on our lives now. He would always smile as he petted "my buddy Rusty". He was a good man, and he will be missed.
I will always remember how Clarence cared for people from the church. He always took time to ask how I was doing. He and my dad were in Sunday School class together and had some really good discussions.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of lost.
So sorry to hear about your Dad. We visited him often at the nursing home. We will miss our visits. Your Dad was a good man.
